  1. I did not realize until after I had this product for a few weeks that my problems may be related to damage. At first I thought it was me; I could not get it to set up correctly and kept messing with it so I would have a sturdy surface on which to iron. When I pulled it out again this week and discovered I still could not easily set it up I examined it closer and think there is either a design flaw or one of the legs is bent. Nonetheless it is very flimsy and I would not buy this brand again. I have not explored returning it so I would not blame the merchant.

  2. Contrary to some other reviewers, this ironing board arrived in a large, well cushioned box with no damage. The board is light in weight but not flimsy, all metal construction and sets up and stores easily. Yes, one could probably knock it over if you bumped into it, but for medium duty ironing (with permapress and wrinkle-free cotton how much ironing does the average family do nowadays?) having something which stores easily and is not heavy to move and set up is a real advantage.

  3. I don’t know if I got a bad board, but it was so unstable that it was frightening. I was worried the entire time that my iron would fall on me. The silicone rest would be nice if the board wasn’t so imbalanced. There’s also a spot to rest your measuring cup with water in it; however, when I put it on the wobbly board, more water ended up on the ground than in the measuring cup.

    I sent it back.

  4. I should have read the reviews and stayed away from this ironing board.

This flimsy metal board came via UPS wrapped in shrink wrap and the top surface and legs were bent. It was a pain to re-wrap and return to Amazon, but at least their customer service is good.

  5. This is a good ironing board, it’s extremely light and folds very flat. There are two downsides as I see it.

    1) Because of it’s light weight (probably aluminum body) it is very

wobbly, if a child or you bump it, the iron can be knocked over.

    2) The second, much smaller problem, is that when folded the legs can

not be affixed snugly to the board if you carry it legs down they

    will drop about 20 inches.

Beyond that this is an unbeatable deal for your money, I would recommend it if the two things I mentioned don’t phase you.
