This is the worst ironing board Ive ever seen and used. I bought it for my new place thinking that I would save a space by hanging the ironing board on the door. I was so wrong. This board is so unstable that each time I open/close the door; it bumps in it making a horrible noise and scratching the door. When ironing my clothes, I have to place the iron on the floor instead of placing it on the board because I have this feeling that one day the board is going to let go and makes the iron to fall down on my feet. After purchasing this board, I found out that the power outlet is a good distance away from the door that I wanted to hang the board on it, so I had it to buy a power extension for it.
Overall, it doesn’t worth paying a penny on this product.

This ironing board is not as stable as the ones which stay on the ground, but it is pretty good for it’s facility of use: you don’t have to take it out, but just to push it down from the door (or wall) to which it is hanged. Because of this it is excellent for ironing a few things when you are in a hurry before you leave. I think it is more apt as a complementary ironing board than as the only ironing board. It can also be very good if you live somewhere for a not very long time. To use it well your iron should’t be too heavy.

A nice product and fast shipping. But the darn thing collapses during ironing if you put more than about 15 pounds of pressure on it.
Edited Feb. 2009: So we called the manufacturer about this problem, and they sent us out two more supporting brackets (it only came with one) and since then it has worked great.
I have brought my rating up from a 2 to a 4 1/2 stars on this edited review.
