  1. Don’t buy this product from Shop at Claire’s. The wrong size was packaged in an 18″ cover. The thing fit miserably, was obvioulsy for an 15″ board, they were out of stock and I had to wait for this item. Shop at Claire’s does not respond to email and I have to pay 1/3 the cost of this item to ship back. Also their customer service are the not the friendliest people in the world.

Recommend against this item for its poor quality and caution with this retailer.

  2. If you have an ironing board with these dimensions, this cover provides a superior fit. The cover does not shift around or come loose from the board as my previous cover did. It is nicely padded and the velcro straps are easy to adjust. I would caution that this is not a metallic surface, so it is not slick. Therefore, if you are using steam the item being ironed tends to stick down, thus requiring that you peel it loose to shift it on the board. This is not difficult to do, but if you are used to a slick cover that allows you to slide the garment around easily, it could be annoying. On the other hand, with a slick cover it is sometimes hard to keep the item from sliding off the board. In other words, nothing’s perfect, but this is a good quality cover. Incidentally, the silicone pad on the butt end of the cover could be very inconvenient if ironing large items like sheets or tablecloths, but it is sewn on and can easily be removed. And it is really not necessary if you set the hot iron on its heel, which I assume most people do.
