I am trying to order Duracell Pocket Inverter 175 but when I click on Add to Cart it appears in the Cart as Duracell Pocket Inverter 100. I don’t want to order until this is straightened out, but there is no Help topic for this and I can’t seem to alert Amazon, hence I am trying with this review to alert them. I believe that this is a good product.

I purchased this product to use in the car with a laptop and cell phone via the USB. It worked well using the USB to power the cell phone but when I plugged in the laptop, the red fault light came on and it would not charge the laptop. I recommend finding out how much power (or Watts) your laptop needs before buying this product.

I bought this and a Dell official car adapter. I have a Dell Precision M4400 and it didn’t work at all. It would start to power, then cycle off. I tried to power my Verizon MiFi and it didn’t work either.
Another thing that sucks is that there is a power button. Once the car is started you then have to hit the power button. Why not just have a rocker switch and leave it on?
Would not buy again or recommend to anyone

I was looking for a replacement for my iGO 130 watt power supply that burned out and decided to try the inverter route. The Duracell looked like a good fit with my laptop (Dell Precision M4400). It is not. Even when I start on battery and then plug in the Duracell starts switching on and off about 12 to 15 times a minute after about 3-5 minutes. Once I get back to the US, I will be looking for a different inverter.

I’ve purchased this for my Acer netbook (kids like to watch movies during a long drive) and for my wife’s new Droid X (GPS function in this smart phone demands continuous power supply).
Overall, it works great for both my small netbook and smart phone. But its blue light is hard to see in the sunlight. Please, make sure you push the button when you use this.
I will recommend this to my friends who understand electronic. I am a little concerned about car battery drainage but it didn’t happen to me until now.
