  1. I ordered the item from Amazon with the price for a new item. However, when I received the item from Amazon today, apparently it was a returned item. The package was opened, and the adapter wiring was messed up. I am so disappointing for Amazon. How can they sell me a returned item as brand new?

  4. I have never had any problems with La Crosse. The main thing with this unit is you have to put the batteries in and then do not touch any of the buttons for 15 min. Also you have to put the battery in the remote unit first and it has to be more then five feet from the main unit. If you do this then everything works fine the first time. The clock will set itself and the remote tempeture unit will send a signal to the clock. The projection unit works good enough to know the time and the tempeture at the remote sensor. This was the best solution I could find for a clock I could see in the middle of the night. It is really neat to see the time and tempeture up on the ceiling. Esp when you wake up in the middle of the night and want to know what the time is. I was surprised at how different the time was from what I thought it would be. In both directions. Sometimes it is two or there hours earlyer than I thought and other times it is two or three hours later than what I thought the time was going to be. I am also surprised that there are nights I sleep a lot more than I thought. I was thinking I get 4 to 5 hours sleep and there are nights I do actually get closer to 6 or 7 hours sleep.
