This American flag is great value. This is considered the “all weather American flag”. It flies in low winds, has excellent durability and resistance to fading.
These flags are made from Dupont Solarmax nylon and have sewn stripes and bright white embroidered stars on an Old Glory field. They are constructed with heavy canvas heading material, 4 rows of stitching at the fly end, and rugged brass grommets.

I was very disappointed with the workmanship and quality of this flag. It does have sewn stripes but none of the stitching is straight at all, it can literally vary up/down an inch on a single strip. Also, none of the stripes are the same width. The stripe on the bottom in about 1 inch wide while some of the strips are more like 3 inches, and the stripe just below the stars is just a little over an inch as well. The variation is very noticeable. Where the stripes wrap around on the outer edge of the flag they don’t even lay back on top of themselves, they overlap on the adjacent stripes, which is very noticeable since it’s fairly transparent. Seriously bad work, someone is being rushed somewhere to pump out more flags per hour. An 8 year old could sew straighter than this. At least printed flags are rectangular and uniform throughout.

In ordering this flag I originally received a printed flag instead of the “embroidered, sewn” one described. In returning the flag, I received an apology from Featured Apparel and, in a week or so, a replacement flag. In the meantime I purchased a similar flag from the local Lowe’s, although it cost almost twice as much ($24.80 versus $12.99). In looking at the flag, I believe it represents an excellent value and I wouldn’t hesitate to purchase Featured Apparel products.

this flag has worked great since i got it several months ago. i have it up most of the time outside in arizona. the heat and weather have hardly made a difference in the flag. the craftsmanship is great and looks amazing with the embroidery. highly recommended for the price.

The flag is great, very well made. The company, Featured Apparel, however deserves higher praise. Having been in sales for over 30 years, I can tell you that some of my best relationships with customers were built on adversity. Every company screws up sometimes. I was shipped a lesser quality flag than what I had expected. Upon arrival, I immediately wrote to the seller expressing my dissappointment. They responded in less than an hour and told me that they would be sending me a replacement right away. That was last Friday, and here it is Tuesday and I have the flag I ordered. Based on this experienced I would highly recommend Featured Apparel.
